A great place to stay when visiting Canberra. The apartment had everything we needed and it was spotless. Restaurants and cafes are a short walk away which was perfect after a day exploring the city. Emma was super friendly and attentive.

It was a great stay at Emma and Roger’s. The location was great next to a lake and Surrounding where we wanted to travel.
A lovely stay at the apartment, was clean and tidy with a nice view of the water with access to many restaurants and cafes. Owners had great communication with us the whole time. My one recommendation is maybe to get a new mattress for the double bed, the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable to sleep in.
Would recommend this unit to couples or a family with small children for a short stay. A larger second bedroom with a window would have been more comfortable for our family group requiring adult twin share in this space. We also found it impractical with only one set of keys provided (as you need these to access the building and parking). Would also only recommend it for guests who like extremely firm beds, no top sheet and do not need bedside lamps. The unit was fitted out like a very basic motel room and lacked the small personal touches that we have experienced in other airbnbs (including tea and coffee). Also lacked welcoming information upon arrival including details on ventilation/air conditioning (?) system (that was continually operational and noisy despite air conditioning being turned off) and TV operation (only ABC and channel 10 available).
