Nice stay
Really good location especially if you are looking for a suburb with a bit more life to it. The apartment itself definitly offers enough space for two people.

It was a great stay at Emma and Roger’s! You’re in the heart of everything, so it can be a bit noisy, but you can walk to any restaurant, the train is right there; and the place is lovely.
Emma & Roger provided a nice room for our two night stopover in Brisbane. Was a good location for ‘home base’ to explore Brisbane easily.
Beautiful accomodation. Emma was very quick to respond to messages & requests, aswell as helpful. Cannot fault our stay here, would definitely recommend.

The room was small and plain, which I was fine with. They had not quite finished up repairing a hole in the wall from a water leak, and there was a strong smell (maybe from the water leak?). The lobby of the building was dirty and not inviting. The building is located on the "dodgy" end of Fortitude Valley, very near the train station. The street in front of the building, and Brunswick, at times had trash, dirt, vomit, dog poo, and graffiti. I actually do not think this is fine for a family at all. However, everything advertised about FV is correct. This place is never boring. There are clubs, bars, pubs, restaurants, etc everywhere. There is no shortage of entertainment. You could not be any closer to the train station (or Woolworth's), which was incredibly convenient. If you're looking for a plain, small room in the heart of entertainment, this is definitely the place, particularly if you're plan is to be out-and-about all day.
