This is a self-contained studio Blickinstal Barossa Valley Retreat, which can host 2 guests., The studio features a queen bed with starred-hotel linens, a kitchenette, and a bathroom.
In the common area, there are BBQ facilities and outdoor dining seating with a fantastic panoramic view. Outdoor fire pit is available outside of the fire danger season (1st May – 30th Nov). You can also find a shared laundry room on premises.
We conduct pest control every three months to maintain the property’s cleanliness and comfort. Being located in a rural area, the property is naturally more susceptible to occasional insects, especially during the summer months. This is a common occurrence in such settings, while in winter, the situation generally improves. Our regular pest control schedule helps keep everything in check and ensures a pleasant environment for our guests.
Perfectly placed amongst the vineyards. Emma and Roger’s listing is the perfect place to get away to for a weekend in the Barossa. They were both extremely flexible with check in and out times and the accomodation was described perfectly. Only two minutes from Rockfords!
lovely place to stay near town
The place was really nice, specially in the evenings when everything is quiet, and you can see the stars in the sky. It was also very near the vineyards, which was perfect for the purpose of our visit. Emma was also responsive, so communicating with the host was not an issue at all. This is definitely a place we'd recommend to our friends!

Very relaxing and quiet. Inside was cosy
Loved my stay at Emma and Roger's! Has views of the beautiful vineyards and woke up to birds every morning.
A hidden gem! A quaint self -contained lodge in the most beautiful, peaceful location that was perfect for our Barossa getaway. It was clean, cosy, well equipped and perfect for our needs whilst we toured the valley. Bed super comfy, air conditioning to cool us down in the recent, high 30’s temperatures & a kitchen which allowed for cooking at the property. To our surprise, we even found a portable induction hob in one of the kitchen drawers… ideal if you want to cook instead of dining out! The BBQ area was also lovely and worked well, however please be aware this needs to be booked in advance by contacting the owner. Beautiful sunsets, gorgeous surroundings, amazing wildlife & a calm and relaxing retreat…. What more could you ask for! Close to the Adelaide Hills & Hahndorf- both worth visiting. Personal highlights: - Charles Melton Wines (approx 5 min drive) - Seppeltsfield Wines (approx 15 min drive) - Tanunda high street (approx 7 min drive) -Char Barossa (7 min drive)
It’s a nice retreat in the hills away from all the city noise. A secluded elevated place to enjoy beautiful sunsets. It’s a nice place who don’t mind but of wilderness and want to unwind
It was a very comfortable stay here for a little getaway. The room was cosy and had everything we could need. Thank you to Emma and Roger for the peaceful place to relax.
