This is a self-contained studio Blickinstal Barossa Valley Retreat, which can host 2 guests., The studio features a queen bed with starred-hotel linens, a kitchenette, and a bathroom.
In the common area, there are BBQ facilities (reservation required) and outdoor dining seating with a fantastic panoramic view. Outdoor fire pit is available outside of the fire danger season (1st May – 30th Nov). You can also find a shared laundry room on premises.
Please kindly note that we do not provide firewood/charcoal, so you may need to prepare your own. Thank you again for your understanding.
Living with Nature
Our home is located in the beautiful South Australian countryside, where we share the land with local wildlife. While we have professional pest control services regularly, it is impossible to keep every insect out 100% of the time, especially during or after heavy rain when they seek shelter indoors.
If you have a significant phobia of insects or expect a completely bug-free environment, a rural stay might not be the best fit for you. We appreciate your understanding of the authentic country lifestyle!

Quietly tucked away in the most beautiful part of the wine region, Barossa Valley. Made of class and a wonderful Furnish, Emma and Roger have created, a safe heaven. The cleaner is so friendly and Barossa Valley is worth the drive. Thank you, Emma&Roger!

We were on a budget so this stay was great value for money, giving us everything we needed to make for a pleasant stay. Thanks very much for having us.

Great location, easy check in, quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately a few things were not working properly such as the laundry facilities and the fridge (which we made the owners aware of and I’m sure will be addressed, these things happen) but we still had a good stay. If you want to use the bbq it would be worth asking for access early as this is the main cooking facility - it didn’t impact us but we noticed it is locked with a note to arrange access.

Great place and location. Only downside is that there was no host there to welcome us therefore communication was a bit generic. We loved it though, thank you.

Cute space with an amazing view. It was extremely peaceful. Beautiful bird songs were our morning wake up call which we loved but do bring earplugs if you need silence.

A perfect quiet alternative to a motel. All you need is right here. Comfortable, clean and only 4 minute drive into Tanunda. Highly recommend ?
