In the common area, there are BBQ facilities (reservation needed) and outdoor dining seating with a fantastic panoramic view. The outdoor fire pit is available outside of the fire danger season (1st May – 30th Nov).
Please kindly note that we do not provide firewood/charcoal, so you may need to prepare your own. Thank you again for your understanding.
Please note: The villa's water system operates normally with good pressure when using one tap at a time. As with many residential setups, water pressure may slightly decrease when multiple taps or showers are used simultaneously. To ensure the best experience, we recommend avoiding simultaneous showers. Kindly note that, as the villa is located in a rural area, the overall water pressure may not be as strong as in urban locations.
Living with Nature
Our home is located in the beautiful South Australian countryside, where we share the land with local wildlife. While we have professional pest control services regularly, it is impossible to keep every insect out 100% of the time, especially during or after heavy rain when they seek shelter indoors.
If you have a significant phobia of insects or expect a completely bug-free environment, a rural stay might not be the best fit for you. We appreciate your understanding of the authentic country lifestyle!
Great place with a lovely view and setting. Loved it.
Beautiful sunsets over the vineyard. Plenty of room for a family. Close to town and vineyards
It was amazing! My brother and I had a great time relaxing and enjoying the peace.
Lovely place to stay. Great location and plenty of space.
Great place, great hosts 💓!
This is a 3 star property with a 5 star outlook. Short drive to town for those wanting privacy and space and don’t mind that the place is a bit tired and in need of a good spruce up. The surrounds of the “retreat” have so much potential and I’d say in its hay day it would have been beautiful. The villa was clean and homely and the basket of goodies left by the host were a nice touch.
Great location for exploring wineries of the Barossa and close to Tanunda and Angaston. And highly recommend using Mark from Barossa Taxi Dropz to help get you around.
Nice place to stay
We had a great time there. Peaceful environment. Could add some more dishes in the kitchen. Other wise we had a great stay.
