We can host a maximum of 4 guests, It is a fantastic place to stay in Leura and features:
- First bedroom with a double bed
- second bedroom with 2 single beds
- 1 bathroom with walk-in shower, washing machine and toilet
- 1 living room with a sofa and a smart TV
- outdoor decking around the cottage with outdoor furniture
- 1 full-size kitchen including a fridge, a gas cooktop, an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher.
- 2 parking spots next to the building and also on the driveway
- There is an air conditioning unit in the living room, and fans are available in the bedrooms.
- Backyard is not available for guest use.
- Please note that the gas heater is available from April to September every year.
- There is a CCTV installed at the property and facing the main entrance.
This house would be a perfect choice for families and friends to have a holiday or short break in Leura.

Das Haus von Emma ist sehr gemütlich, bestens ausgestattet und liegt gut um Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen! Allerdings habe ich noch nie so viele Mails erhalten nach einer Buchung. Auch die vielen „do s and don‘ts haben uns etwas gestört. Ich habe mich zuerst nicht so richtig als Gast gefühlt! Schade!
Lovely little place. Nice and sweet
Cute, clean and well-equipped place with a nice mix of modern features and older charm. The undercover carport is a bonus, and the arrival instructions were very helpful (don’t rely on Google Maps). The location is also convenient, making it a good base for getting around. A few things to note: the driveway is moderately steep and uneven, which may not suit all vehicles. There are two other units nearby, so light sleepers may notice noise from neighbours (car doors early morning, footsteps on the gravel near one bedroom). Being close to the freeway, there is also consistent traffic noise, including trucks at night. There are quite a lot of house rules and warnings. While understandable, it can feel a bit restrictive and make it harder to fully relax.
The location instructions would be assisted by saying: Heading from west to east on the Great Western Highway, pass through the Leura signs until you see a very big blue sign on the left saying ‘Memorial Gardens and Crematorium 550 metres’ (include a picture of the sign) Turn in at this sign and proceed straight down the dirt track. We had to ask our way and the woman said that many people got lost. This tells you that the instructions are not clear!
We really enjoyed our stay at Emma and Roger’s place. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. It’s well located, although the access is a bit tricky. The only downside was that there were no fitted sheets for the single beds. I noticed this had been mentioned in other reviews as well. Other than that, we were happy with our stay.
Great place to enjoy the Blue Mountains!
We had a very comfortable stay at Emma and Roger’s place. It’s in a great location and the clear instructions made it easy to find. To note, the track to get to the property is very uneven and slightly tricky to navigate. Overall would recommend.
The cottage was lovely and peaceful. However, some road noise was audible at night which is out-with Emma and Roger's control. This did not impact our enjoyment. We would recommend the accommodation 😊
