This is a self-contained lodge in Blickinstal Retreat, which can host 4 guests., The lodge features a queen bed with starred-hotel linens, an indoor fireplace, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
Bedroom - one Queen bed
Downstairs living room - one double-size Sofa bed, coffee table and smart TV.
Air conditioning also comes with heating functions.
In the common area, there are BBQ facilities (reservation required) and outdoor dining seating with a fantastic panoramic view. The outdoor fire pit is available outside of the fire danger season (1st May – 30th Nov). You can also find a shared laundry room on the premises.
Please kindly note that we do not provide firewood/charcoal, so you may need to prepare your own. Thank you again for your understanding.
Living with Nature
Our home is located in the beautiful South Australian countryside, where we share the land with local wildlife. While we have professional pest control services regularly, it is impossible to keep every insect out 100% of the time, especially during or after heavy rain when they seek shelter indoors.
If you have a significant phobia of insects or expect a completely bug-free environment, a rural stay might not be the best fit for you. We appreciate your understanding of the authentic country lifestyle!

Enjoyed our stay, relaxing and peaceful. Would have liked some wood for the fire supplied but wasn't a big issue just needed to go into town and get some from Foodland. Place was clean and cosy, little treat basket to get you through. Easy to communicate with, Thanks guys, have already recommended you.

We had a great stay for Mother's Day weekend. It was a lovely location; the kids enjoyed a little getaway. It was a convenient location, to come back to throughout the day and close enough to lots of attractions in the Barossa.

I had a slight hitch with checking in, however the hosts fixed the situation as quickly as they could. I then had a very pleasant stay, the room was very clean and the spa was great. They don't provide any firewood but you can buy some from Foodland at a reasonable price (sourced from a local supplier).
