Bethany is located 70 km north-east of Adelaide in the heart of the Barossa Valley. It is a small and beautiful village which was originally laid out in the Hufendorf settlement pattern - a town planning style which has houses adjacent to each other along the road and the land attached to the houses stretching behind them in narrow strips. This means that the best way to experience the town is simply to walk up and down the main road.
Nuriootpa
The historic town of Nuriootpa is recognised as the business and commercial heart of the Barossa Valley. It is the tourist and service centre for a famous grape and wine area which has over 150 wineries and cellar doors. It is a town surrounded by vineyards.
